Poem

Today I wrote a poem about fallen Officers Kocab and Curtis.  I sent it to the local newspapers to see if they’ll bite.  Probably not, but at least I tried.  It’s a pretty good poem.

Rockin’ Rehab

So I went to my rehab session today.  To find that my physical therapist had loaded 3 Metallica albums into his iTunes just to play for my session!  How thoughtful.  I hit those exercises hard with Hetfield by my side!

N.I.M.B.Y.

I saw a guy at an intersection with vuvuzelas for sale.  $15 down from $25.  Is this what we’ve come to?  Personally, I’d rather have More Cowbell.

O Captain My Captain

O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills;   10
For you bouquets and ribbon’d wreaths—for you the shores a-crowding;
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning

-Walt Whitman
